Our Trip

This week we are on a trip in Washington State to see my grandparents. My Aunt Kate, my Mom, my sister, and I are on this trip. My Dad Noah had to stay home and work. Our first stop was 50 miles North of Seattle. This is my Grandma Sue and Grandpa Ed's house. They have a nice medium size home; it has one bathroom, a kitchen, one bedroom, a sun room, and a nice big living room. They also own a cabin just a little ways away from the house. Here we are spending one night. My sister and I get to sleep in the sun room for the very first time; and my Mom and Aunt get to sleep in the cabin. The next morning I got to make lattes and mochas. I made a 2 shot hazelnut latte for my mom, two half shot mochas (because my sister and I shared a shot), and 2 one shot hazelnut lattes for my Aunt kate and myself. Then my sister and I played with their new puppy named Ozie. Ozie is a English Springer Spanial. We left at around 12:30- 1:00.

This is my Grandpa Wes and Grandma Karan
Our next stop is 50 miles South of Seattle. We spent 2 - 2 1/2 hours in the car not counting our stop at Ivars and Safeway. We were in the car for 1 hour and 15 minuets before we stopped at Ivars for dinner. I got some breaded tiger prawns with french fries and white clam chowder. The clam chowder was free. There were Sea Gulls every where on the Pier, so I decided to go out and feed some of my French Fries to them. As soon as I was on the deck I held up my fry and there was a chorus of squaking. There was some fighting, flying and I was going to give it too one but another one came and knocked it out of my hand a Sea Gull on the ground ate it really fast. When ever I through my shrimp tails in to the ocean the Gulls would fly up and then pile on top of each other. At the end of the meal when we were about to leave I grabbed a stray cracker and was going to give it to the Gulls on top of the building when I saw a sad hungry looking raccoon so I gave the cracker to him bit by bit instead. I had never seen a Raccoon before even though I live in Montana so this was very exciting. We finally got back on the rode and 15 minuets away from our next stop we stopped at Safeway to get some Ice cream and cereal. Finally we made it to our next grandparents house. These grandparents names are Grandpa Wes and Grandma Karan though she likes to be called Grandma Chicken. They live in a two story house. On the first floor is the kitchen, a bathroom, and the living room. On the second floor is another bathroom, two bedrooms, and Karan's sewing room. We stayed here for three nights. My sister and I had to sleep in the sewing room. We mostly hung out with Grandpa Wes because he isn't feeling well. The day after we got there we went to a pumpkin patch. We went in the corn maze, on the bouncing pillow, and on the pedal carts. Then on Wednesday we bought some pumpkins and carved them. I carved the One Eye One horn flying purple people eater. Then on Thursday we left for Portland. Last night our cousins came over and we had a dinner, ice cream, movie party. I will update this tomorrow. Thanks Alex
